Persons with disabilities who need accommodations (such as sign language interpreter services) in order to participate in an ELC-sponsored event are asked to notify ELC as much in advance of the event as possible.

The Education First Compact will convene for its first meeting of the new school year. Guest speakers Lori Shorr and Sharon Tucker from the Mayor’s Office of Education will be joined by other city leaders who have been working to support improved student outcomes. The discussion will cover the progress that's being made within their many partnerships and the next steps for continued improvements.

This will take place from 8-10 a.m. at the Community College of Philadelphia, located on 18th and Callowhill Streets, in Room C2-5 of the Center for Business and Industry (CBI) Building. If interested in attending, please RSVP to Brian Armstead at barmstead@philaedfund.org.
