Program Associate

Kayla Edwards Scott (she/hers) is the Program Associate in the Pittsburgh office of the Education Law Center. She is responsible for working with and supporting families who reach out to ELC’s Intake Helpline and drafting content for ELC’s website, newsletter, reports, social media, and other external communications. Prior to joining ELC in 2022, Kayla taught high school history for two years. She is a proud graduate of Delaware State University and Howard University’s School of Education — both of which have shaped her passion for working to ensure that the most underserved students have the opportunity to realize their full potential.
